Endorsements & signatures
FreeGet signed off by any CFI, in the app.
Two things, both by certificate number. A signature is a CFI confirming a flight, requested from the flight. An endorsement is a CFR-cited statement a CFI issues from the AC 61-65K templates, requested on its own or given directly. The CFI signs in DaPilot.
- Request a signature from a flight, or an endorsement from the Endorsements screen
- AC 61-65K templates built in; endorsements print or export as a PDF
- A CFI can add your flight to their logbook as dual given, or propose an edit you approve
- Undo a signature or revoke an endorsement; the record stays on file marked revoked
A signature or endorsement is a record, not a determination of eligibility. The instructor and pilot are responsible, and DaPilot does not verify a certificate number.
